a classic prep style
The feminine and the masculine combine in this look. The button up , the scarf, and the pants are all feminine while the belt and blazer are masculine. This classic contrast of feminine and masculine are one of the common factors in my everyday look.
Blazers and scarves. I love them almost as much as I love coats and collars. They're classic, elegant, unique and something I can always appreciate when worn by others. Wearing such closing can make you feel power, stylish, and sophisticated. Who wouldn't want more? For this look I started with a light blue oxford button up from H&M. Next, I added a pair of simple high waited blue jeans. I considered switching out the jeans for a more polished pair of pleated navy blue pants, but since there were no belt loops, I went with the classic blue jeans. My belt is made of leather with hemmed edges and a dramatically large, detailed buckle. I love how the small flower details on the buckle add a feminine touch to a masculine belt. Furthermore I complimented my blue color palette by choosing a silk scarf with variations of the color. The light blue, the dark blue, and the aqua all come together in an organized, chaotic, and perfect way. In the photo you see I left my scarf tied loosely, intending to exhibit its many details. However, when I'm going on with my day, l prefer to tie the scarf into a knotted fashion and neatly tuck it into my button up. Kind of reminds me of something Audrey Hepburn would wear? The blazer is my favorite. The cut is very feminine and tailored with decorative buttons on each sleeve. It's warm, it's flexible, and it's comfortable. It gives off a sense of fearlessness and power, without being to overdone or too intimidating . A must have piece for everyone ! I finished up this look by accessorizing with a pair of aviators. Love this look!
