a classy makeup look
It has always been a goal of mine to one day have a makeup routine that I can rely on and never have to change, it seemed almost impossible at one point, but I was blissfully mistaken. It was once a known fact that makeup was one of my weaker points. Through my stage of overdrawn eyebrows, to applying so much bronzer it looked like I had dirt on my face, I am pretty sure I have had a less than glamorous experience experimenting with my looks. However, from years and years of my ongoing battle with makeup I have acquired knowledge and I have finally prevailed. I am elated to say that I have finally found a natural looking , classy, and simple makeup routine that will surely take you under 10 minutes to complete. I've tried a variety of different products and I've found out that the best products, don't necessarily need to be the most expensive products . Most of the items listed below can be found at drugstores, are easy to apply , and are perfectly suitable for anyone beginning makeup. This is the makeup routine I wish I had known about before I started makeup.

Here are all the makeup products I use on a daily basis. Most are Maybelline products, I'm not sponsored by them, I just genuinely enjoy their products ,how easy they are to apply, the price, and how it looks on me. I've added a couple products that can help give the makeup a more glamorous, night out look, but these products are completely optional :)
The first and foremost product I apply to my face is Maybelline Dream BB Cream. I love the consistency of this product and how light and delicate it feels on my skin. It helps fight acne and blemishes while also applying a subtle and moisturizing tint. If your skin is like mine, and has very minor blemishes, you know that using a regular foundation would be an overkill. Instead, I use this tint as a way to even out and enhance my skin tone, rather than completely masking it in coats of foundation. I apply this product very lightly in a circular motion on my two cheeks, forehead, and nose. The tone adapts to your skin tone and makes it appear glowing and oil-free.
After applying my tinted moisturizer I apply my Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer, this concealer brightens up my under eyes and intensifies the color of my green eyes. The coverage is very light and the consistency of the product is very smooth, making for a very easy application. Since this product illuminates the area of the face on which it is applied on, I wouldn't use this concealer as a blemish concealer but rather as an enhancer. I apply this product by drawing a triangle under my eyes and filling it in. I start the triangle corner by my inner eye area and end it with a point near the
halfway mark on my nose.
No Instagram brows here! No need to pay twenty dollars for an eyebrow pencil lasting less than a month also. This is my trusty Maybelline Duo Fill brow pencil. What I love most about this product is that its easy to use and isn't overly priced, unlike most pencils on the market today . One side of the product is pencil and the other side is powder to fill in your brows. There's a fair variety of shades available to match ones specific hair color. This product lasts approximately two to three months, when generously applied daily. I use this product by lightly stroking In only the sparse areas of my brow, making sure not to make harsh lines and jagged unnatural ends. The more natural brow the better, helping create a softer, more delicate, and classy look.
Here is my Gimme Brow by Benefit Cosmetics. This is a tinted brow gel that helps keep flimsily eyebrows in place all day long. This product is more on the expensive side, so I would recommend Maybelline's Clear Great Lash mascara as substitute. These two products do the exact same thing, except one is tinted and more expensive. I own both the Maybelline and Benefit brow gel and can honestly say I can't see a difference and neither can anyone else.Furthermore the clear brow
gel from maybelline can be used as mascara, which is what i use to keep a natural look.
This is my Clinique Blush and eye shadow palette. I rarely wear eye shadow, and if I do its a matte, natural crème or honey shade. The only thing I use in this palette is the blush, and It's by far one of my favorite blushes I've tried, and I've tried many blushes. The shade is perfect for a youthful, natural, and elegant look. Application can by harsh so made sure to start out with a light swipe of the product and build up if necessary. I apply the blush beginning at the apples of my cheeks, lightly dragging it up toward my ear.
I adore this Rose and Almond Oil Lip Therapy from Vaseline because it looks so natural and youthful. The rosy tints adds a subtle yet lovely touch of color to your look that lasts all throughout the day. I usually apply this product with a mini brush for more control in my application, but it can easily and quickly be applied with one's finger.
Optional: This is my aqua colored NYX Eye Pencil. I apply it to my waterline as a way to enhance my eye color and make me seem more awake. Unlike other products in this post, this is a bit more noticeable and less natural. I usually add this liner when I'm going out or simply trying to appear as if I put more effort into my look than I truly did.
