Can we talk about this dress? This stunning piece is summer if it were a dress. It's absolutely gorgeous, feminine, and perfect fit for the summer . I thankfully stumbled across this dress at a River Island store in London. Although I woefully couldn't wear it amidst the chilling air in London, I was fortunate to come back to the California sunshine where I could finally show it off to the world. This dress has a unique ribbon attached to the back of the collar that you can tie into a classic bow. I especially love how the collar ribbon matches the waist ribbon, giving off a feminine chic vibe while complimenting each other flawlessly. Furthermore, the seams are discreetly hidden and well sewn. Overall the quality of this dress was in perfect shape, despite the buttons being slightly flawed. I did have to re-sew on some button but it was a miniscule inconvenience. Though there are many feminine aspects to this look, the overruling femininity is in the ruffles. The light, delicate gathering of the fabric resembles a classic fashion style. It catches your eye just like the dainty pastel shade of the flowers contrasted onto the vibrant orange base of the dress does. Soft, comfortable, and silky, this piece makes you look put together in an instant. The organized stripe pattern of the ribbon looks great, to my surprise, against the red background. I completed this look by adding on an aqua blue Michael Kors bag and a pair of rose colored loafers. Such a classic and feminine look.
